Just Energy Solutions Bring 4,000 Homes Out of Fuel Poverty
A household is classed to be suffering from fuel poverty if the members living within the household have a lower income and cannot afford to keep the property adequately warm. Fuel poverty can be caused through low income, high fuel prices, poor energy efficiency of a home, under-occupancy within the household and old age.
Millions of people within the UK right now are living in fuel poverty, with an increased winter death rate within the UK. Living in a cold home, particularly for children, people with disabilities or illnesses can be highly damaging to physical and mental health. In fuel-poor households people often suffer debts with fuel companies and their home becomes increasing deteriorated through damp and condensation-related mould growth.
At Just Energy Solutions we firmly believe that no one should be living within fuel poverty. So far, Just Energy Solutions have helped bring 4,000 households out of fuel poverty making homes more energy efficient through the installation of free efficient boilers as part of the ECO scheme. Significantly improving the lives of 4,000 households, people are now living in warm homes whilst appreciating the substantial reduction in their energy bills.
The permanent solution to fuel poverty is to make all homes within the UK much more energy efficient so that they are easy and cheap to heat. Just Energy Solutions will strive with continuous efforts to reduce the rate of fuel poverty and are hoping that in the near future fuel poverty will be eradicated from the UK.

“We’ve now been operating for five years, and the team has gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience over that time. We want to stand as thought leaders in the industry; trusted as the go-to business for energy services, but we also care about our customers and corporate partners. We want to do the best for each person or company we work with, and that’s helped us get to where we are today – almost all of our work comes from word of mouth recommendations.” – Alan Ring, Commercial Director, Just Energy Solutions
